- 'SAGAE' (Watanabe 1996) - (M) Dull yellow green above, glaucous green below with bright-pale yellow margins and irregular ripples. Whitish flowers. $12.00

- 'SAISHU JIMA' (Korea/Japan Davidson / Summers) - (S) Originally found on the island of Saishu Japan. Lance shaped green leaves 4" x 1", glossy with wavy leaf margins. Bell shaped purple striped flowers. Rapid increaser. $6.00
- 'SALUTE' (Benedict 1995) - (M) Narrow, pointed blue leaves which are held erect to form a vase shaped upright clump. Wavy edges and twisty tips. Different. $10.00
- 'SARA' (Kuk 1994) - (ML) 17" tall and 24" wide. Moderately dense, semi-upright deep gold leaves with a lightly rippled margin. Dull above, glaucous bloom underneath. Moderately wavy, moderately corrugated and with a heavy substance. 25" scape with pale lavender flowers. $25.00
- 'SAVANNAH' (Suggs NR) - (M/L) Medium green leaves with creamy white margins. Fragrant pale lavender flowers in August. $10.00
- 'SEA BUNNY' (Seaver 1986) - (M) Glossy, green to light chartreuse leaves that are heavily rugose. White flowers with faint lavender striping in July to late August. $12.00
- 'SEA DREAM' (Seaver 1984) - (S) Plant comes up green and quickly turns yellow with an ivory-white margin of variable width. Heart shaped leaves with several slight undulations or some ruggling along the margin. $8.00
- 'SEA GOLD STAR' (Seaver 1984) - (S) 12" tall and 16-20" wide. Often larger. Bright chartreuse green early in spring. Later they edge and become a distinctive pale yellow. Some puckering and crimping between the veins. Leaf margin varies from smooth to some with small ruffles. Good substance. Pale lavender flowers on 35" scapes with flowers clustered at the top of the scapes. $10.00 Held for Increase
- 'SEA MONSTER' (Seaver 1978) - (ML) 19" tall and 30" wide. Bright green leaves with a tendency to cup. Leaves face in all different directions. 28" scapes with flaring white flowers. $12.00
- 'SEA YELLOW SUNRISE' (Seaver 1985) - (S) 8" tall and 12-15" wide. 5-6" long yellow leaves. 18-23' scapes with lavender flowers. $8.00 Held for Increase
- 'SECOND WIND' (Kulpa 1991) - (S) 11" tall. Dark green with a waxy glaucous bloom; cordate; slightly cupped; leathery; slightly rugose. Pale violet striped flowers. A Whirlwind mutation. $8.00
- 'SEPTEMBER SUN' (Solberg 1985) - (L) Cordate leaves with a yellow center and dark green margin. Heavily corrugated. Near white flowers in late June and July. Fast grower. An August Moon mutation. $12.00
- 'SERENDIPITY' (Aden 1978) - (S) Blue green heart shaped leaves on a 10" tall plant. White flowers. $6.00
- 'SHADE FANFARE' (Aden 1982) - (M) Chartreuse with a cream margin, cordate, flat leaves, 7" x 5.5". 22" scapes with lavender flowers. $8.00.
- 'SHAZAAM' (Jones NR) - (S/M) Dark green wedge shaped leaves with a dramatic, very wide creamy margin. Lighter grey/green areas appear in the leaf where the uneven margin lverlaps the green center. Lavender flowers in early summer. $12.00
- 'SHERBOURNE PROFUSION' (Smith/BHHS 1988) - (S) 8" tall and 12" wide or up to 13" tall and 30" wide. Blue leaves. Color holds if in partial shade. Orchid flowers in late June into mid July on 18" scapes. Fertile. $10.00
- 'SHINING IMAGE' (Powell NR) - (VL) Green with white flowers. $10.00
- 'SHINY PENNY' (Solberg 1997) - (D) Miniature mound of heart shaped leaves that emerge bright shiny yellow and turn coppery as the season progresses. Lavender flowers in late June. $10.00
- 'SHOGUN' (Aden NR) - (L to VL) Medium green with an irregular white margin. Lavender flowers. $8.00
- 'SHOWBOAT' (Lachman 1993) - (M) Dark green with a 1.5 inch creamy white margin. Ovate with a flat to tapered base; margin smooth; slightly shiny above and dull underneath. Pale lavender flowers. $10.00
- 'SIEBOLDIANA ELEGANS' (Ahrends/Hylander/AHS) -(L) Blue/grey/green leaves. White flowers. $8.00
- 'SIEBOLDIANA GIGANTEA' (Japan species) - (L) Large heart shaped grey green leaves. $10.00
- 'SIEBOLDIANA MIRA' (Maekawa 1940) - (VL) Gray/blue/green leaves. Near while flowers held just above the foliage. $10.00
- 'SILVER HEART'(European) - (M) Several shades of green and white variegation. Lavender blooms. $8.00
- 'SMILING SAILOR' (C. Seaver 1996) - (D) Yellowish green to gold with a flat margin. Dull on top and underneath. Long, pale purple, tubular, striped flowers. $20.00
- 'SNOW FLAKES' (Williams 1986) - (S) 9" tall and 22" wide. Medium green, dull. 21-28"scapes with pure white flowers. $6.00
- 'SNOW WHITE' (Arett 1983) - (S) about 8" tall. White with a variable width medium to light green margin. Undulations and twisted tips. Undulata mutation. $8.00
- 'SNOWDEN' (Smith/BHHS 1988) - (L) Blue green leaves and near white flowers. Vigorous. $12.00
- 'SO SWEET' (Aden 1986) - (M) Green with a white margin that varies in width. White Fragrant flowers. $8.00
- 'SOUTHERN COMFORT' (Ruh 1992) - (M) 15-21" tall and 36-48" wide. Medium green triangle leaves are slightly twisted nd rippled. Dull texture. Lavender pink flowers on 52" scapes. Very fertile. $6.00
- 'SPARKLING BURGUNDY' (Savory 1982) - (M) Heavy textured olive green leaves. Reddish purple flowers with purple spotting. $8.00
- 'SPECIAL GIFT' (Fisher 1973) - (S) A neat round mound of heart shaped blue green leaves. Abundant lavender flowers. $6.00
- 'SPECIES #99' (S) - Narrow green leaves with wavy edges. Purple flowers. Fast increaser. $10.00
- 'SPINACH PATCH' (Vaughn NR) - (L) Dark spinach green, large round leaves. Heavily corrugated with much puckering. Heavy substance. White flowers. $12.00
- 'SPINGARN'S JAPAN' (Spingarn/Malloy 2000) - (D) A cute little 2 inch tall plant, medium green and slightly shiny. Long, pale lavender to near white, tubular flowers in late summer. $8.00
- 'SPINNERS' (Smith 1988) - (L) Very large plant when mature. Dark green with a creamy white edge. Lavender flowers. Named for a nursery in England. $8.00
- 'SPRITZER' (Aden 1986) - (M) Yellow gold to white center with a two tone green variable width edge. Leaves are upright but arch outward and downward. Flowers are purple tinged white. Very heavy bloomer. $10.00
- 'SQUIRE RICH' (Kuk's Forest 1988) - (M) 18" tall and 23" wide, slightly vase shaped. Bright golden green leaves are very pointed, heart shaped. Leaf margins have many small undulations, and are considered to have a piecrust edge. Leaves are dull on upper surface and shiny below. Dark lavender flowers in mid July on 28" scapes. $10.00
- 'STAINED GLASS' (Hansen/Shady Oaks 1999) - (M/L) A sport of Guacamole with the same rapid growth and mounding form. Variegation hold well throughout the season. Prominent veins give the leaf a 'stained glass window' effect. Large fragran near-white flowers in August. $12.00
- 'STETSON' (Walter's Gardens 1997) _(ML) Medium green with a 1" wide, heavily rippled yellow gold margin. Slightly shiny on top, dull underneath. Deeply folded, moderately wavy, lightly corrugated, ovate with a flat base. $10.00
- 'STILETTO' (Aden 1987) - (D) Green with very narrow white margin, lanceolate, undulate leaves, 7" x 1". 12" scapes with purple striped flowers. $10.00.
- 'STONE'S YELLOW LEAF' (Stone/Ruh NR) - (VL) A very large and impressive yellow plant with very smooth leaves. $20.00
- 'SUBCROCEA' (AHS) - (M) A sieboldii; yellow green with many small marginal undulations. $8.00
- 'SUE' (Millhorn 1999) - (S) 12" tall. Our introduction. Pure white with a 1/2" wide medium green margin with green and grey/green streaking towards the midrib. Slightly twisted leaves and more twisted tips. Slightly shiny on top and underneath. $75.00 Held For Increase
- 'SUGAR AND CREAM' (Zilis 1984) - (L) Very dark green with a cream margin; slightly undulate. Scapes are 43" tall and have nar white flowers mid August to early September. $8.00
- 'SUGAR AND SPICE' (Zilis 2003) - (M) Green with a white edge. Some streaking. Purple flowers. $15.00
- 'SULTANA' (Zumbar 1988) - (S) Dark green with a light chartreuse margin that varies in width. Cordate, wavy leaves. Near white flowers. $10.00
- 'SUM AND SUBSTANCE' (Aden 1980) - (XL) Glossy chartreuse - more gold in more sun. White underside. Leaves can reach 20" long and 15" wide. Pest resistant. White flowers. A truly impressive clump at maturity. $12.00
- 'SUMMER BREEZE' (Q&Z 1999) - (L) Dark green centers with 4 1/2" wide irregular gold margins. Pale lavender flowers in July. A sport of H. 'Summer Music'. $15.00
- 'SUN POWER' (Aden 1986) - (L) Light chartreuse to bright yellow leaves that color early and hold the color. Large marginal undulations. Ovate, cordate, wavy leaves, 10" x 7.5". 36" scapes with light lavender flowers closely spaced on the scape. $8.00
- 'SUN'S EYE' Yellow/gold. $10.00
- 'SUNNY DELIGHT' (Solberg/Zilis 2000) Luminescent gold foliage with a slightly rippled margin. Long pure white tubular fragrant flowers. $12.00
- 'SUNNY SMILES' (Tompkins 1990) - (M) Dark green with a golden chartreuse yellow to white edge. Pale lavender flowers. $10.00
- 'SUPER BOWL' (Aden NR) - (L) Variegated. Center is chartreuse in early spring changing to medium gold by mid summer. Near white flowers. $12.00
- 'SURFER GIRL' (Wasitis/Bridgewood Gardens 2000) - (D) Medium green leaves with heavily rippled margins, very shiny on top. 4" high clump. Pale purple flowers. $15.00
